Function and Role Purpose
The Business Development team is central to achieving the organization’s core purpose by driving growth and increasing effectiveness in existing markets and by realizing opportunities in new sectors.
The team does so through fundraising, marketing, membership development, and effective relationship management through client and community relations, volunteer programs.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization’s ongoing marketing efforts by executing each year’s strategic communication plan while meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) outlined in it – they also support daily needs of marketing initiatives of the company.
Responsibility.
- Deliver the annual marketing plan to achieve key performance measures, including integrated marketing campaigns, content creation and curation, publishing, and all other streams of the marketing plan.
- Embed the brand refresh across the organization and act as custodian of the brand, ensuring integrity in its visual and verbal application across all channels.
- Produce community-based marketing and events.
- Support internal requests for collateral, merchandise, and promotional items.
- Produce reports that provide data, trends or insight into digital or social media activity.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
Skills & Qualification Required.
- Tertiary degree in business, commerce, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 year’s experience in a marketing role, preferably with previous responsibility for end-to-end campaign delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including copywriting.
- Effective project management, time management, and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent data management and administrative skills.
